Since the founding of the IBEW in 1891, one of its primary goals has been to promote safety and health—not only for the worker but also for the worker’s family. The IBEW was one of the first unions to have a full-time Safety Department and one of the first to require Local Union Safety Committees in its Constitution.
At Ibid County Electric, the health and safety of our employees is of utmost importance. Ibid strictly adheres to the safety standards set forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). By following OSHA's safety standards, work-related injuries are kept to a minimum. All employees are covered by Ibid County Electric's Workers' Compensation insurance.
